On Saturday, October 16, you are cordially invited to the official Open House for the George Henry White Memorial Health and Education Center, 731 Farmers Union Road, Clarkton, NC 28433. From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., you will be able to tour the facility, and see the miracles that have taken place with your own eyes.
You'll be able to see the new signage, plaques and equipment provided by partners including Lowes, Trane Technologies, Pridgen Brothers Contractors, Gerald Collins Contractors, Flex-Seal, Johns Hopkins University, International Paper Foundation, Graham Security Services, Matthews Electric, SalesForce, and the many individuals and families of the Benjamin and Edith Spaulding Descendants Foundation, including the property donors Milton and Wanda Campbell. On display will be the silver water pitcher, goblets and tray donated by Robert Egleston, in memory of his ancestor, Rep. Claude Kitchin, who followed Rep. George Henry White in Congress.
Many of the volunteers and specialists who participated in the construction will be present. Media, political representatives and religious leaders are all welcome. This event will be marked with photos and video to commemorate the launch of the project. At noon, some official remarks will be given. Please come and celebrate with us and meet some of your fellow-miracle workers!
